Lower Rear End Tip
If you’ve invested in lowering springs for your 4th Gen Camaro or Firebird, and the rear end is still sitting a tad too high, you can get an extra ¾ of an inch or more by taking the isolator out on top of the back springs and replacing it with ½ heater hose on the spring itself. Simply use 1.5 ft of ½ inch heater hose and lube it and work it onto the coil. This way it will keep the metal-to-metal contact and ride nice and give you the extra drop. Make sure you have them centered when re-installing.
